The Infamous Masterson’s , situated in the center of Moonee Ponds , promotes itself as a chic “hipster” locale , but my latest trip at this establishment quickly devolved into an unforgettable, terrible experience. While the bar may look welcoming at first glance , what I encountered behind its doors was appalling and beyond comprehension .
The Condition of the Premises : Squalid and Neglected
From the moment I stepped inside , it was apparent that cleanliness was not a priority at this bar . The ground was covered in grime , and a pungent odor of stale beer and uncleaned toilets permeated the entire pub. Smelling a mixture of excrement , a rotting odor and illness . The counter , which should be the centerpiece of any pub, was littered with unwashed glassware and debris that looked like it had accumulated over weeks. As I investigated further , I was appalled to find reports against him involving predatory behavior , with multiple women alleging that he of harassing them digitally. Described as excessively forward and boundary-crossing , his actions has created an unwelcoming setting for women who frequent Masterson’s. His presence at the bar often resembled that of a unsettling figure than a genial proprietor .

Instead of taking action to mitigate the damage done by her husband’s actions, she seems to endorse his behavior.
